Safety and Onboard Rules
Immediately after payment, the confirmation will be sent to your email and will appear in the app notifications. Simply review the booking details, arrive at the scheduled time, meet the provider, and enjoy your vacation.
Yes, we strongly recommend arriving at the meeting location 45 to 60 minutes prior to departure to step on board comfortably and without rushing. Your rental time begins exactly at the hour specified in the booking, so arriving late may shorten your actual event time. Please note that the platform is not responsible for delays, and a failure to show up for boarding is considered a No Show, meaning no refund will be issued.
Yes, this is a strict requirement for maritime safety and law. Every vessel must be equipped with lifesaving gear and life jackets that accurately match the age of the guests. There are also strict licensing limits on the number of passengers allowed on board. The app calculates all these parameters automatically so the crew can prepare before you step on board. Please note that infants and children count as full participants in all respects. If you plan to set sail with an infant, we highly recommend notifying the provider via the app chat in advance so the crew can prepare a specialized infant life jacket of the correct size.
We completely understand this question, but special laws apply at sea. According to the Shipping Authority regulations, every vessel has a fixed maximum passenger capacity that can never be exceeded. Since any child or infant is counted as an individual guest on the official passenger manifest and occupies a spot on board, the cost for them is calculated equally to an adult participant.
Unfortunately, no. The number of guests is strictly limited by each vessel's official license and maritime safety rules. To avoid unpleasant situations and delays before starting your vacation, please ensure the number of guests fully matches your booking confirmation. Bringing more people than stated in the confirmation is technically and legally impossible.
The choice is yours. You can bring your favorite dishes and beverages in accordance with the specific listing rules. Alternatively, you can save yourself the hassle and order catering, platter sets, or alcohol through our associated providers. In that case, all refreshments will be fully prepared and waiting for you directly on board.
We fully support a celebratory atmosphere and fun, but safety always comes first in open waters. The provider (captain) holds full legal authority and is responsible for safety on board. They have the right to terminate the event early or return to shore immediately if a guest's behavior due to heavy intoxication or non-compliance with safety guidelines poses a threat to themselves, other passengers, or the vessel. Please keep in mind that in such situations, no refund is provided for the remaining time.
The main rule for a sea trip is comfort. We recommend wearing light, comfortable clothing, and don't forget to pack a swimsuit, towel, hat, and sunglasses. Bring sunscreen—preferably eco-friendly and non-greasy so nobody accidentally slips on the deck. And, of course, bring a bottle of drinking water.
Of course, because a vibrant vacation on the water is unimaginable without great music. Most locations and vessels are equipped with high-quality sound systems. You can easily and quickly connect to them via Bluetooth directly from your smartphone. If needed, you can clarify connection details with the provider in the app chat immediately after completing your booking.
Yes, all yachts and vessels designed for longer cruises, events, or voyages are fully equipped with clean and comfortable restrooms and showers. You can use them with complete convenience throughout your entire time at sea.
This depends entirely on your chosen trip format and the sea conditions on the day of the cruise. During a private experience, you can always ask the captain to drop anchor in a beautiful lagoon or a calm, suitable spot so you can jump in and refresh in the clear water.
This happens all the time! If you are in the middle of your trip and realize you don't want to return to the shore just yet, simply talk to the provider. If their schedule allows, they will gladly extend your time at sea. Please note that to keep your insurance valid, payment for extra hours in real time must be processed exclusively via the secure digital payment system of the Haflaga platform.
Your time slot is strictly defined and scheduled. Many providers have very tight schedules, hosting multiple groups in a single day. For this reason, a delay in returning directly impacts the schedule of the next guests and causes disruptions. If the delay is caused by your group, the provider has the right to charge for the corresponding extra hours through the platform.
The sea can sometimes be dynamic, so it largely depends on the stage of pregnancy and the weather conditions on the day of your adventure. We highly recommend consulting your physician before booking and making sure to notify the crew before stepping on board. In such cases, the crew will navigate the vessel with extra care and gentleness throughout the journey.
Your safety and comfort are always the top priority. If a participant feels unwell, notify the provider or crew members immediately. They can administer first aid or adjust the course and speed to ease the guest's discomfort. If the situation requires it, the captain will make the decision to return to shore for the safety of the passengers. A helpful tip: if you know you are sensitive to motion sickness, we recommend preparing in advance by taking seasickness medication about an hour before boarding and avoiding heavy meals right before starting.
The sea is open to everyone, but each listing has its own technical limits and internal safety rules. In the description of each specific listing in our app, you can always check the provider's policy regarding pets or bringing personal gear (such as large floating mats or heavy sound equipment). If you have any doubts, simply message the provider directly via the app chat.
We sincerely want every guest to enjoy the sea to the fullest! However, accessibility always depends on the specific vessel design and the infrastructure of the marina from which the cruise departs. The description of each listing in the app details its accessibility features. We strongly recommend consulting with the provider via the chat before finalizing your booking.
Absolutely. This trip format is suitable for those who have never held a fishing rod in their life, as well as experienced anglers. In most cases, the provider takes care of everything and supplies rods, bait, necessary gear, and guidance from a professional instructor. The entire catch is yours to keep, and you can take it home (we recommend bringing a portable cooler with ice). Some shared trips even feature fun competitions with prizes for the biggest catch.
An international maritime tour is an unforgettable experience. Travel time to Cyprus depends on the chosen vessel, taking 5 to 8 hours on a high-speed motor yacht or 15 to 20 hours on a classic sailing yacht. The price already includes the services of a professional captain and crew, cabin accommodation, as well as marina and berthing fees. For the trip, you will definitely need a valid passport and soft duffel bags instead of hard suitcases. Also, please check the visa requirements (such as a Schengen visa) for your nationality well in advance of booking.
This process is organized much more comfortably than at an airport. You arrive at the marina early, following the instructions provided by the host in the chat. A border control officer comes directly to your yacht, checks the documents of each guest, and applies stamps. The check itself takes just a few minutes, after which the crew receives clearance to set sail.
Your safety always comes first. Only the vessel provider or the Maritime Authority are authorized to cancel a sea trip due to safety concerns or dangerous wave heights. Overcast skies, light rain, cool weather, or a total lack of wind are not considered valid grounds for cancellation by a guest without penalties. If the provider determines that sea conditions are unsafe for departure, you can either choose an alternative date for your adventure or receive a full refund.
Your money always comes back to you in full, straight to the original payment method: If the cancellation happens before your booking is confirmed, your payment is still only an authorization hold on your card — nothing is ever actually charged. Depending on your card issuer, it can take up to about a week for the hold to disappear from your statement. If the booking was already confirmed and paid, our team issues a full refund directly back to the card you paid with. And of course, our support team will be happy to help you find an alternative date or experience.
If you need to reschedule your booking, simply send a message to your provider via the app chat. The ability to reschedule depends entirely on the provider's current schedule and availability, so the final decision rests with them. If rescheduling is not possible, you can either proceed with the original date or cancel the booking in accordance with the active cancellation policy.
To provide you with maximum flexibility while protecting providers, each partner chooses one of 4 cancellation tiers. The chosen policy is always clearly displayed on the service page: Flexible Policy: Full refund for cancellations made up to 24 hours before your adventure start time. Moderate Policy: Full refund for cancellations made up to 72 hours before departure. For cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the start, a 50% refund is issued. Strict Policy: Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance receive a 75% refund. Cancellations made between 7 days and 72 hours before the start receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the trip start time are non-refundable. Non-refundable Policy: No refunds are available from the moment the booking is confirmed (except in cases of force majeure or cancellation by the provider themselves). Important Note: Failing to arrive at the scheduled time (No Show) is treated as a cancellation by the guest, and the full payment is retained.
No worries, any situation can be resolved fairly. In case of damage to any equipment, notify the provider immediately on the spot. Haflaga Support will step in right away to act as a reliable mediator. We will carefully review the details of the incident in accordance with the provider's insurance policies and help resolve the matter fairly and transparently through our platform's payment system.
Standard cleaning is already included in the cost of your trip. However, if the venue is left in a state requiring exceptional deep cleaning after the party (due to excessive mess, the aftermath of motion sickness, or the use of forbidden decorations like confetti or glitter, which harm the marine environment), the provider has the right to request an additional cleaning fee through the platform.
